首先要说明，我在上海的上外书店里买了本《罗马假日》的中英对照本，在开头部分也就是“派拉蒙新闻的简讯”是这样说的：
Paramount News brings you a special coverage of Princess Ann's visit to London,the first stop on her much publicized goodwill tour of European capitals.She gets a royal welcome from the British as thousand cheer the gracious young member of European's oldest families.After three days of contious activity and a visit to Buckingham Palace,Ann flew to Amsterdam where Her Royal Highness dedicated the new International Aid Building and christened an ocean liner.
Then went to Paris where she attended many official funcions designed to cement trade relations between her country and the Western European nations.And so to Rome,the eternal city,where the Princess' visit was marked by a spectacular...
所以从这上面可以看出Ann不是英国、不是荷兰、不是法国、也不是意大利的公主，我总是觉得她是瑞典的公主，但是找不到出处，也许真的是没有提到，因为她的出生在这部片子中似乎并不重要.
但是也有人说是大不列颠王室的安妮公主 也就是英国的
