谁能帮写一篇英语作文,题目是:How to Be a Successful Manager?
A successful manager is one whom others want to follow. I have these seven key points for those who wants to be a successful manager.
Builds effective and responsive interpersonal relationships. Reporting staff members, colleagues and executives respect his or her ability to demonstrate caring, collaboration, respect, trust and attentiveness.
Communicates effectively in person, print and email. Listening and two-way feedback characterize his or her interaction with others.
Builds the team and enables other staff to collaborate more effectively with each other. People feel they have become more - more effective, more creative, more productive - in the presence of a team builder.
Understands the financial aspects of the business and sets goals and measures and documents staff progress and success.
Knows how to create an environment in which people experience positive morale and recognition and employees are motivated to work hard for the success of the business.
Leads by example and provides recognition when others do the same.
Helps people grow and develop their skills and capabilities through education and on-the-job learning.
you must first manage yourself.
Become a practical visionary. Successful managers have a
clear vision of what success means to them, and they share their vision with
others. A vision comes from your soul and touches your heart. It influences your
decisions and actions. For example, if your vision is to help the environment in
every way you can do, you will use supplies that are environmentally conscious
and will recycle everything you can. Your staff will follow your vision, and
your example can influence your peers to adopt conservation strategies.
Develop your communication skills. Two-way communication is
a necessary element of authentic interaction. Success managers are good
listeners who seek out and give appropriate feedback to achieve the results they
want. Provide employees and customers outlets for expressing ideas, voicing
concerns and making suggestions. By encouraging and practicing open
communication, you can more easily motivate employees, satisfy customers and
create an organization that readily responds to the changing workplace.
Collaborate, don't compete. Successful managers are skillful
negotiators who ensure everyone wins something and no one leaves the table with
nothing. Successful collaboration starts with your ability to influence others,
to convince them of your position and obtain their support for your decisions
and actions. Solicit the opinions and suggestions of others; listen to their
concerns; demonstrate a willingness to act on their input.
Network. Successful managers have support networks of
professional and personal connections. They often construct complex webs of
interpersonal relationships that allow them to draw on the abilities, strengths
and expertise of others. Effective networking provides power, knowledge,
resources and support
Learn to lead. Successful managers lead by empowering
others. They look for ways to share power, effectively delegate important tasks,
encourage people to participate in setting business goals and acknowledge the
achievements of others.
Value diversity. Successful managers view expressions of
individuality as assets. They seek to establish mutually beneficial
relationships with employees, create working environments that support
employees, encourage creativity and reward performance. Encourage employees to
develop their talents and skills by giving them interesting problems to solve
and allowing time to brainstorm, experiment and implement new ideas.
Build teams. Encourage participation, sharing and mutual
respect at work. Look for ways your employees can make connections on the job.
Give employees to autonomy they need to meet goals in their own way within
budget and on deadline. Provide support, training and recognition

SO LONG
when the time passed the first decade of the 21 century, management has become more familiar to the public. whenever you talk with your partners, whoever you want to work under. most of them will inform you that to be a successful manager is the key road for you bright career.
but how? as for now, after struggling in the market for almost 12 years, i gradually realize that there exsit 2 golden rules if you want to win the golory of a successful title. first of all, you need to speak wisely. successful manager will not do evertthing himself, he knows how to ensure each member in his group can contribute his most power. there is no doubt words is your best weapon to achieve this goal. on the other hand, you have to form a well relationship with your boss. the power you owe orignate directly from you superior, without his/her suppport none of your work can be smoothly carried on. its the 1st offcial rule that all knows but few understand and perform well.
to sum up, be a successful manager is not a easy way, but you must go forward, as the most brillent sentence Fitzgerald wrote "So we beat on, boats against the current," otherwise we will "borne back ceaselessly into the past".
