这是老师给的提示:Students are requested to think of a problem which is related to one of the 4 themes covered in the first half of the course: the environment and global warming, gender issues, goals and ambition, careers. For example: one female student might explain to the other that they believe they are being discriminated against at their work because of their sex, and the boss will only consider the male workers as eligible for promotion to management positions. Students should also think of the ways to solve it.
Another example could be: One student explains to the other that they would really like to pursue a career in art and design, but their parents insist they should study accounting. Two students will take the roles of a counselee and a counselor. The counselee must explain the problem elaborately to a partner; the counselor in turn will suggest possible courses of action to take to try to solve the problem. The counselee wraps up the session by sharing what he/she personally thinks about the problem and the suggested solutions. The entire session should not exceed four minutes. Both students don't know which role to take yet until the day of the exam. It is therefore a must that both students should prepare for either role.
