Nowadays, computer become more and more important in college students dailylife,they use computer to search information,to study,to play games. Consequently,there is an increasing concern over the issue of Whether college students can carry computer in university first semester.
Some colleges which think the rule have enough reasons, In the first semester,many students do not adapt to the new situation,they may pay too much time in computer games. And college side hope students can take part in the college life actively.
However ,some people think this rule has no necessary completely. firstly,if students want to play computer games ,they can go to a internet cafes.secondly,searching information and studying would become not convenient without computer.
Who’s right? As far as I concerned, the best way to solve the problem is not to banish students carry computer, college side must trust their student and give them more freedom .after all,they already an adult.

Consequently, there are increasing concerns about whether college students can have computers in the first semester of their university study.
Some colleges set a rule, which not allow the new students to bring computers to school. This seems to have good reasons. In the first semester, many students have not adapted to the new environment. Computer games may distract them and make them uninterested in other things. The college authority aims to encourage the students to take up more school activities.
From the other point of view, some people don’t agree with the rule. Firstly, it will not stop the students playing computer games. They go to Internet cafes to play instead. Secondly, without computer, searching for information and studying for certain subjects can be very difficult.
Which is right? As far as I'm concerned, banning computers will not solve the problem. We should trust the students, encourage them to have self-discipline and give them more freedom. After all, they are adults already.
