做题技巧：第一空，in place 三个， out of place 一个，确定是in place的（如是out of place, 此题一下子就做出了，出题者不会给你这个便宜占的）第二空，to speak 出现两次，speak, speaking各出现一次，speak的可能性较大，因为speak, speaking只有一个，如能确定是其中一个，又马上排除三个了。最后一空in place 三个，in the place一个，同理不是in the place，所以，第一空为in place, 第二空为to speak, 第三空为in place ,不用英语知识，只用数学方法及心理学方法，就能确定正确答案。
