英语中动词是不能做主语的，你的那句是典型的中国式英语，不符合英语的语法。

呵呵，其实我没想它做主语，只是想以一个日常用的短语的形式来表示，后面的“that”就是代指前面的“went.....”和“got......”这两个短语了。

这也是不符合语法的，英语一个句子中只能有一个谓语动词的，你这样一来就出现了三个动词了。而且“went.....”和“got......”做短语也不能这样表示，要么是going to... getting .... 或者是to go to.... and to get....
