I am writing to invite you to be the adjudicator for the coming debate of the school, which is to be held at 10:00 next Thursday morning in the school Conference Hall. The topic is whether English skills are needed in today’s society.
Present at the debate will be 2 headmasters of the school and some English teachers. As the adjudicator, you are expected to show up in a suit and tie, and deliver a summary speech after the debate, commenting on the performances of the debaters.
