On16th of March 2011, an activity with the theme of “Planning for Life, Determined to Achieve” was held in our class. The class teacher gave a speech first. She talked about how to make a plan and find a direction for the future. She told the story of the founder of Microsoft Bill Gates to illustrate how important to made a plan and try to develop the ability and rich our knowledge. Then the class captain gave a speech. He tried to inspired us to aspire to success, With the famous basket player Yao Ming as an example, he stress on how important to have perseverance and ambition for develop personal talent. After that, we had a class discussion. Everybody gave a talk over the issues of the personal designing and the short-term plan. I talked about my plan to improve Mathematic and English. By listening to other people’s stories, I realised that we all have strength and weakness, the elements determine for success are: planning, handwork and positive attitudes.
