答：Seated/Sitting
因为seat和dress一样，跟人作宾语。He seated his son/ himself on the chair.
-->His son/ He was seated on the chair.
He was sitting on the chair.不用说了吧， 熟悉句子。
这句话为了平衡，倒装了。不倒装，则为The only foreigner (定语从句) was sitting/ seated on the ground.

2，I can't judge by that I know of him.
that怎么改？ 为什么？
答：what = the things that.
what I know of him= the things that I know about him.
我不能通过我了解他的那些情况来判断。

3，With days went on , the weather got worse.
with 怎么改？ 为什么？
答：As days went on, ...
随着日子一天天过去，天气变得越来越差。
as 是连词，可以跟时间状语从句。还有一种改法：With days going on， 。。。

1. 句首加上The person ，因为原句没有主语。坐在地上的那个人是我在聚会上看到的唯一的外国人。
2. that改成what, that引导宾语从句不充当成分，what充当成份，意思是，我不能从我了解到他的情况判断他。
3. with改成as, 句子前面应该用连词as引导，而with是介词，不能引导句子。

1 Sitting seat 是名词，这里要用它的动词形式，sit，变成动名词，双写t，加ing
“坐在草地上的那个外国为就是我在派对上看到的。”
2 what 宾语从句的使用，如果用that就应该是定语从句，但没先行词呀，所以要用what
“据我所了解的他，我无法作出判断。”
3 when 如果用with ,应该将went改成going，但是这里要必with,那就改成when，意思是“几天过去了，天气越来越糟。”

1.改为 Being seated. 因为 seat 是及物动词，需带宾语，若无，需用被动形式。
2.改为 what 。因为by 之后是宾语从句。宾语从句缺宾语用 what 引导。
3.改为As。因为是两个句子，需用连词引导时间状语从句。
