Qingdao，a key seaside city，is located in the southeast part of the Shandong Province with 870 kilometers coastline. It has a mild temperate climate， with four distinct（clear-cut）seasons. That is the reason why it becomes a well known summer and health resort. As one of the places of interests in China，those cultural heritage and eye-catching scenery spread along the city coast， attract tourists from all over the world. With the rapid economic development of the society， more and more people in Qingdao get involved in sports，which makes it a host city for several events of the 2008 Olympics.
