布丁，英语pudding的音译。布丁是一种甜品，主要材料为鸡蛋。布丁总体分为两种：一种是蒸烤布丁，是指利用但本身的凝结力，经过隔水蒸或烤的方式让布丁凝结而成;一种是胶东布丁，是利用海藻胶，明胶或鱼胶来制作，制作完成后只需放冷藏即可凝结定型，不用烘烤。口感滑嫩爽口，入口即化。口味则是千变万化。这次的设计选择的是胶东布丁，选择这个品种的重要原因是它造型丰富多彩，式样繁多，可以在调整口味诶的同时，做更多的造型方面的改变。
