B:it would be unbearable.The world would then be full of noises,but not music.
A:How is music different from noise?
B:Music generally has a pattern and sound quality which is pleasing to our ears while noises are only irritating.
A:By your definition,i think many kinds of music are actually noises,especially those loud forms of rock and roll .
B:True.On the contrary,classical music is soft and lovely.It is always my favorite.
A:Some people think that classical music is too boring.What do you say to that?
B:I don't think so.Compared with most pop music,classical does take some time to be appreciated.But pop music is too simple.
A:What are your favourite pieces and composers?
B:Oh,there are too many to list.I'd say all the Nocturnes(夜曲)by Chopin(肖邦),those of Haydn (海顿)and Liszt(李斯特).
A:What about pop music?
B:I quite like Mariah Carey(玛丽亚 凯丽).She has a very good voise.
A:Yeah,she is my favorite too.And,I heard that the CD shop nearby just got her new pieces.I'm planning to go there recently.Would you like to come with me?
B:It's so kind of you ! No problem.And I'm gonna find some classical as well.

　　Anne: Oh, I see. Can we say that country music is a development of American folk music?
　　Mark: Well, let's say it's a development from folk music. Today, it is commercial, not folk. The center of country music is Nashville, Tennessee, where many people making a living producing records, tapes, radio shows and so on.
