OnceIworkedinahospitalwithRose.Rosewasaverystrangewoman.Noonewantedtoworkwithher.Onth...
Once I worked in a hospital with Rose. Rose was a very strange woman. No one wanted to work with her.
On the first morning, when I arrived at 6am, Rose had already begun to work.
"Hi, I’m Janet. What do you want me to do? Start the coffee?" I asked. Rose just nodded and went back to work. When I was making the coffee, she suddenly said, "That’s not the right way to make coffee."
"My teacher taught us to do it this way."
"The patients would like the coffee I make better," she said. All the morning, nothing I did pleased her. In the evening, I told my mother about it.
"Maybe you can try to love her," she suggested.
"How could I love her?" "You can just try."
In the following days, I tried to love her as much as possible. Surprisingly, I found Rose also had many good points. She was kind to patients and worked very hard. And she seemed to like me, too. She told me many things about herself. She had a poor family, and she had health problems. On the day when I left the hospital, Rose came to see me. "I just came to say goodbye," she said with a bright smile.
