Nowadays, money is absolutely essential for living. We need it to buy clothing, food and other basic necessities. If I had sufficient money, I would spend money on my beloved ones, but of course only when necessary. I have to save at least three quarters of my money for emergency use, and the rest for spending for the month.

I should not be a spendthrift and splurge on branded stuff if I am already short of basic necessities. I would also spend money on helping the poor, handicapped and aged, even if I do not know them. Giving my money to charitable organisations would be heavens for those in need of money for survival. One thing I would not do with my money is spend it on gambling, smoking or other bad habits detrimental to me and my health. Neither would I lend money to others or borrow money from them if either party wants it for sheer enjoyment.
