我们把它还原成：She gave up teaching because the reason. (可见这里的reason是原因，用why)
2. B 他被撤职的原因是不难解释的。
我们可以把它还原成：He was dismissed for the reason. (也可以还原成：He was dissmissed because the reason. 所以这里也可以用where ),
3. B 她和我们玩的这一天决不会被忘记。
我们可以把它还原成：She played with us on the day. ( 看见了吗？我们可以在the day 的前面加上on, 证明这里的the day是时间，用when引导，也可以用on which)

因为用that的时候..The reason_that_she gave up teaching was her serious illness,这样的语句一看就知道是同位语从句..当句子是同位语从句时..可以省去_that_she gave up teaching 剩下The reason was her serious illness.句子没问题...说明能用that....当用why时...The reason_why_she gave up teaching was her serious illness..我就觉得是一个定语从句...why后面的she gave up teaching 做the reason的定语...做定语的时候..用why直接接上后面的原因
2。B 定语从句。THAT可以引导表语从句而WHICH不可以。排除C，D本身就不对，有THAT就不用FOR，当出现关系代词引导时可以用for which 来代替，而这个题没必要，因为有that ，同时从
句又是表语从句，只能用that引导。
3。A 首先，从句缺少主语，排除B D，其次，THAT可以引导表语从句而WHICH不可以。

定语从句这部分的题有时真的很难解释清楚，所以要多做题，培养语感，总结规律。
