Question

replace，substitute for，还有哪些代替，主语和宾语哪个代替哪个，搞不清楚。

我的意思就是A replace/substitute for B.是不是都表示A代替B，我记得有个代替是反过来的，表示B代替A.
好像还有个take the place of。
