本实验选用经33天龄坡养后的鸡180只，采用完全随机的单因子试验设计，设1个对照组及2个试验组，每组设5个重复，共10个组、12个重复。以鸡传统育肥方式为参照，放在木笼内育肥60天，分为育肥前期30天（第I期）、育肥后期30天（第II期），以探索用干性颗粒饲料育肥鸡及缩短育肥时间的可行性，研究采用干性颗粒饲料育肥鸡的饲养操作规程。结果表明，环保型干性颗粒饲料代替传统育肥方式育肥鸡，能显著地提高增重速度及饲料利用率，降低死亡率，提高经济效益。
