我是一名大三毕业的专科生，英语的水平大概接近4级，现在想通过自学英语，过公共英语的3级和四级，买了疯狂英语看，现在半个月了，觉得效果不是很明显，并且每篇都有大量的生词认不到，现在想听听大家的意见，觉得我这样的情况怎样学习的好？需要换教材吗？新概念的怎么样？我现在的目的只有一个，就是目的性强一点，能针对公共英语三级和四级努力，希望大家提供点好的教材和练习题，针对性强点，谢谢了，如果觉得还有更好的方法，也可以提出来，谢谢大家了

建议您：
先找一份三级或四级考试题（网上都能搜到），仔细做一遍，了解自己的知识结构状况以及所需要强化的知识点，明确实力和努力方向。
根据自己的实际状况，选择适合的教材和资料。您说的新概念比较实在，内容基础性强，适合于循序渐进式学习和提高，难度也不大，有利于增强学习信心。
对于词汇量扩大和短语掌握，建议用【题型渗透法】：即，重点加强朗读、阅读训练；在增强阅读能力基础上，结合阅读过的材料，进一步学习、复习、熟悉其中的句型结构；重点词汇、高频词汇，巩固其中的词组短语。尽量不要单独记忆词汇——脱离语境的词汇没有价值，也失去意义。也就是说，记忆单词的最小单位是【词组、短语、或搭配】。这种用大题型复习、兼顾小题型的方式，我自己称之为【题型渗透法】，效果比较理想。

词汇什么的很重要，其他的听力什么的，看几部美剧就可以了，记住，是尽量不看字幕的看美剧哦~~~词汇，我推荐红宝书，号称17天背下一万单词的书。不过每天要花大量时间进去。。。没那个决心是学不好英语的。。。其实考四级什么的要过也不难，因为及格成绩就能过了啊~~~不高的，阅读看仔细点就是了。加油，祝你成功~~

公共四级词汇是个重头，找本词汇书突击下，我用过刘毅5000，虽然不是完全针对公四，不过那个配有简单的练习，对词汇做个巩固，可以试试。
练模拟和真题吧，新概念很好，只是我觉得不太适合你现在的要求。

根据楼主的情况，我觉得还是疯狂英语好，至于楼主说的想过英语4三级四级，这些不难，只要拿一个单词本或者习题练练就好了，关键还是在于语感
