This graduation port folio essay focuses on the designing of the guide block of the gearbox in an automobile. Gearbox guide block is a crucial part in the process of changing gear, the precision of the production directly affects the quality of corporation with the shift fork, thus affects the shifting of a gearbox.

This port folio requires lots of calculations. In order to finish the port folio, knowledge related to mechanical designing and automobile manufacturing is required. It also explains the topics of the design of gearbox guild block's production's process, and the usage of the typical jig, cutter and measuring tools (三个名词不太确定). I rearranged the process of the gearbox guide block's production, and I designed the jig after testing out the best way. I designed the jig when the diameter of the broach/ream is (xxxxx), therefore we need to analyse the position and the degrees of free and clamping (专业名词，依然不确定) closely. And also, I am designing the rotary working-station for the drilling machine, then key facts on jigs are required. Then, we drew the rough draft, roughly sketched out the basic structure of the jig, figured out the best way after further fixing. Meanwhile, jig for the milling machine is also designed. The content of its design is similar to the one for drilling machine, as described above. Its purpose is to mill the grooves and the top surface of the guide block. Plus, the design of cutter and measuring tools are mentioned as well. (最后一句很突兀哎..)
