铸钢中加入稀土可以提高铸钢的强度、韧性和疲劳强度等性能。本试验通过向30CrMnSi加入稀土Ce，分别运用渗透法，金相观察，电镜扫描和能谱分析研究不同稀土添加量（0.00%，0.03%，0.06%，0.09%，0.12%）对裂纹，金相组织，夹杂物分布和成分的影响。使铸钢轻量化，结构减薄，并达到提高强度，减少铸造过程的缺陷（裂纹，缩孔）等目的。研究表明，稀土添加量为0.06%对铸钢有减少裂纹，细化晶粒，减少并细化夹杂物等作用。
