1. 2 　Measurements of Luminous Efficacy and Chromaticity of the Phosphors
The photoluminescence spectra of all of the phosphors reported in this work were measured by means of a Bentham spectrometer equipped with an integrating sphere for luminous efficacy determinations. Luminous efficacies were measured on the Bentham spectrometer equipped with a M300 monochromator and a 100W quartz halogen source and silicon detector, both of which were NPL calibrated. The light output from the quartz halogen source was filtered using a Comar interference filter having maximum transmission at 470nm, and a high reflectivity Opdima sample was used as a reference.The CIE coordinates of the phosphor emissions were also obtained from the photoluminescence spectra measured by means of the Bentham spectrometer.
