1. Student A and B are classmates. They are talking about their favorite music types and giving some reasons. A loves classical music while B prefers pop music. They talk about their favorite songs and singers, etc.
2. You invite one of your classmates to watch a movie entitled <***> in the cinema and you make comments on its theme, plot, film-making techniques, characters, setting, etc. with each other.
3. Your best friend falls in love with a man/woman who is 8 years older than she/he. People can’t understand her/him. Your best friend states her/his view with you about this. You advise your friend to think it over again.
4. B is reading a brochure full of ads. A thinks advertising costs too much money and customers have to pay more because of the ads, while B thinks advertising tells people about products.
5. You have bought an i-pad and it has given you a lot of pleasure. Your friend saw it and you highly recommend it. State your likes and dislikes with each other.
6. Your neighbor wants to keep a pet. It is hard for her/him to choose a dog , a cat or a parrot. She/he asks for your opinion. You two discuss the positive and negative effect of keeping these pets.
7. A wants to become a rich person. He/she thinks money can buy happiness. B disagrees and cites several examples to prove that some rich people do not feel happy. Finally they reach an agreement.
