On Ambition

Ambition is the desire for personal achievement.It provides the motivation and determination necessary to achieve your goals in life .Ambitious people seek to be the best at what field they choose to do for attainment,power ,or superiority.Ambition can also be defined as the object of this seekness.
Ambition is a double-edged sword.It has two side-effects,the positive side and the negative side.A person with proper ambition would have clear goal in life,and make scientific plans to make his dream come true.Also proper ambition can motivate men to keep full of energy and confidence and even lead to final success.However,over-ambition would have the negative effect.A man with over-ambition would go forward by any ways including bad ways.Someone would even lost their humanity.To illustrate this,we can take Hitler-a well-known man who started the world war two- as an example.
From my point of view,ambition plays an important role in our life.But we have to treat it properly.Both having little ambition and having over ambition are not right ways.Because we cannot imagine a world without any ambition or a world with many Hitlers.In brief,as college students,we should have proper and right ambition.
