Dear Paul,
Thank you so much for your letter. I'm very pleased to hear from you.
It's going to be my senior year in high school pretty soon. I'm very excited about it, hoping it will be an enjoyable experience though challenging. Anyway, I'm worrying about my English. I'm kind of left behind by my classmates and, to be honest with you, my English score is quite low in exams. I plan to work on it and study harder in the coming year, hoping I'd be able to catch up with others before the University Entrance Exam. And I need my teacher's help and your support. Hope that's not much to ask.
So much for my situation here. What about you? Anything new? I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.
