"There is a lot more to life than a job." This sentence has become a slogan for people who want to be lazy or rebel against convention. While I disagree with its use toward unproductive purposes, I do agree with the basic premise. People study to go to a good college, only because they desire better job opportunities. They work hard to gain promotions. Regretfully, during all this industriousness, so much pleasure in life is lost. Everything becomes centered around the career; the other worthwhile objects for their attention, like family, nature, and people's own inner worlds, are forgotten. People succumb to shallow materialism rather than enjoying their work and becoming fuller, wiser people. Wisdom, not material success, should be the true purpose of life.

Now the students are talking about job too much. Even the new students who just enter the university are starting to worry about there future job. However I think there are much more things in the world than job. Especially we are still studying. The more important thing should be learn well of what we should learn. No house can build on sand. So before we think about job, let's think about how to improve our ability from all aspects first.
