instead of与in addition to的区别

是 instead of+doing sth.吗？
我记得有一个跟他意思差不多是 to do sth.
rather than的用法 说一下

instead of有“而不是”的意思，Taking exercise every day makes him look younger instead of older.
每天锻炼身体使他看起来年轻而不显老。
in addition to是除了。。。之外的意思。
In addition to French, he has to study Japanese.
除了法语外，他还得学日语。instead of+doing sth是正确的

in addition to = 加上

这两个完全不一样啊，连意思都不一样
前者是“代替，而不是”
后者是“另外还有”
