英语不是这样学的！看你提的问题就知道你有些急于求成。要想真正学扎实，不可能单看一本书就可以的。你必须经历很多很多英语方面的知识，听力、阅读、写作、翻译及相关的背景等甚至整个欧洲的历史。那样学出来的才是真正的英语。

But NCE does not cover all the words in the news especially some up-to-date words. Your own level of listening should also be taken into account. The reporters speak really really fast. In the past, some spoke too fast so that even the foreigners could not catch what they had said.
So CCTV9 has introduced some reporters from english-speaking countries.

This may work but it varies from person to person.
