Dear Mr Lee,
Thank you for your call dated 2 July 2011. The amount of the service charge about which you complain is indeed higher than it should be. Apparently this was overlooked by the supervisor responsible. Please accept our apologies for the oversight.
We are giving you a free service voucher by this week, and would ask you to collect it at our service centre at your convenience. Alternatively you may call to inform us that you'll prefer to receive it by post. We'll send it to you once we receive your instruction.
You are perfectly correct in saying that the service charge should be less than what we normally charged. May we remind you, however, that in case you want to send your car for a second service, it'll be free of charge once you present the service voucher at the cashier.
We have heard from our senior service technician that your car is in good condition now, and he will personally see to it that you are not kept waiting again if you need repairs in future.
