To finish so much work in an hour is impossible
2.C 选择第三人称单数，排除A，前面用的是一般现在时，前后一致，再排除D。need to do固定搭配，需要做某事。
3 D it做形式宾语，真正的宾语是 to drop into the concert hall.

第一题为什么是To finish而不是Finishing呢？
第二题那个need我觉得怎么是情态动词啊
第三题，不是had better to do 才是最好做某事吗？

1）原句是主语从句，本就是固定搭配，不定式是真正的主语，改写句子，把it去掉，不定式提前就可，如果是finishing的话，原句为什么不是It is impossible finishing so much work in an hour
2.）need做实义动词是“必要，需要”，是及物动词
“need”作为实义动词时，通常用法是：
人＋need ＋to do
物＋need ＋doing
物＋need ＋to be done

need做情态动词时，指“必须”。
因无过去式和未来式，故分别用had to , will have to 来代替。
need do sth 中need为情态动词。
need doing sth = need to be done
表示有被动含义。
