Hello.I am a Senior 1 student named Qin Yan from *** High School. The other day，I was invited to a classmate's birthday party in an expensive hotel,which caused me to think.
More and more students enjoy having their birthday parties at hotels.Studenyts have different viewpoints on it.Some students are for it.They think that having a birhday party can provide a chance for them to communicate and as a result,their friendship can be expanded.Besides,they can relax after busy studies.However,some students hold a different view.They think that it's not easy for their parents to make money,and having a party at a hotel is just a waste,and it is also againt their parents' wills.What's worse,it will keep up with the Joneses.It is bad manners.It is bad for teenagers' growth and studies too.
To my mind,I don't think it is good to do so.We are only students.We should spend all our time and money on our studies.

Dear editor，
I am a Senior 1 student named Qin Yan. The other day，I was invited to a claaamate's birthday party in an expensive hotel which caused me to think if we should hold our birthday party in a hotel.
About this there are two different views.Some students think it provides us with a good chances to communicate with each other and develop our friendship,and besides,we can relax after hard work at school.However,some other students think it's a waste of money and time and can lead us to getting the hapit of trying to keep up with the Jonese,which has a bad effect on our growth and studies.
As far as I'm concerned,it's not easy for our parents to make money and keep us at school for education.So there is no need for us to do like that.We must treasure our parents'labour and put our hearts into our studies.
