这首歌从歌词上看上去有点悲观，但我理解的应该是十分积极的

从他们的经历 ：（2000~2002）　当时Xero（原来的林肯公园）被各个唱片公司拒绝，查斯特加入后，乐队也足足吃了四十二回闭门羹，办过无数次地下演唱会 成名作:One Step Closer却均以失败告终，后来乐队赌气，把他们的一支单曲One Step Closer发布到了互联网上，结果这首歌却意外地在网上大红大紫，Yahoo的歌迷讨论区一周之内涌入了上千篇评论，华纳兄弟唱片公司看到了Linkin Park的潜力，于2000年和乐队签约，同年，乐队发行他们的第一张录音室专辑《混合理论》(Hybrid Theory)，从此便一发不可收拾，专辑共收录12首歌，首首经典。
