2B be paid to 是固定搭配，to 相当于一个介词，后面+动名词；from是介词也接动名词而且后半句涉及到被动语态。
3C （此选项的being被你打错了）句子里面的空不能有动词，排除B 然后A时态不对。there be 才是“有”的意思。
4C 不能选有动词的，但是主语是student，与study构成了动宾关系，选D还能表示一种状态。
