一Why do we learn English

When I was seven years old , all I ever wanted to do was (to studyin an English-speaking country . Because I thought the English-speaking COUNTRY'S Education is better than our China 's .
And I decided that the best way is studying English well . So I study English haryly such as commucation more with other English peopel , join in some English lessons . and listen to the English songs . And I think to study in an English--speaking country can help me study English well. So I study English hard by means of communicating with foreigners ,attending some English lessons and listening to English songs. In a word ,I have been in love with English

Why do we learn English
Now, more and more people begin to learn English .And almost everyone around us can speak a little English.But why do we learn English?
In my opinion,English has become a world-wide language .And when we do business with foreigners in the times of reform and opening up,we should speak English.The international meetings always use English;many important books are published in English .Also,we can know each other better if we understand English,we can make contributions to the world peace ,too.
I hope that every students can pay attention to learning English,and make full use of English often. In this way,we can improve our English .
First of all, English has become an international language. It plays a more and more important part in the world, especially on business and association among countries. If I can speak English, I can make a trip around the world . I can easily make myself understood.In another hand, I can read some valuable books, newspaper and magazines that are written in English.I can learn what the different customs are in the foreign countries with the help of knowing English.
