第二题，文意是你在信中所说的你待的旅馆就是这儿吗？强调的是地方！在句子中是作状语！而in which是用在非限制状语从句中的或者用在介词之后的定语从句中，在这句话中，没有省略in，故不能用which
第三题，句中情调的是未完成的动作
