When Nanjing Automobile company paid 53 million for the British car company MG,they promised to create 2000 jobs in the UK,which would be good for works,suppliers and the community.It appears that Nanjing paid 10 million less than was being offered by another company,Shanghai Automotive.The offer from this company was not accepted as it seemed that they were not going to meet the needs of stakeholders to the same extent.So MG shareholders lost 10 million,but other skateholders benefited.
Can it ever be right for the interests of other skateholders to be put before those of shareholders?
