Unit 1 I love this music.
一. 教学资源分析
本课内容选自外语教学与研究出版社出版的《新标准小学英语》第八册(一年级起始用),Module 4 Unit1 I love this music.本课的主题 music.主要的语言功能是陈述自己的爱好,了解有关音乐的类型,学会用英语表达自己喜欢的音乐,及谈论与音乐相关的话题。本单元用两个课时完成,本课为第二个课时。

1. 知识目标:

T: Hello, boys and girls! Do you like “music”? Today we’ll talk about music. Let’s listen to it, ok? (CAI) If you can sing, please follow it. (选择了两首学生非常熟悉的,动感十足的英文歌曲,课堂气氛一下就被调动起来。)

2. Presentation
Step2 T: The songs are very famous. They are pop music. Any other kinds of music do you know? Can you give me an example?(学生在第一课时已经预习,能说出一些。)

T:Different kinds of music have different styles.(用简明扼要的语言向学生介绍这几种音乐类型的特点)
1) Traditional Chinese music: It is from China. It’s peaceful and sweet.

4) Classical music: It is classical and elegant.
5) Children’s music: It’s cheerful and easy.
Step3 T: I have a few periods of music. Let’s listen and guess which kind of music is it? (CAI)(这一环节可以检验出学生是否能体会出老师刚说的各种音乐的特点,能否正确判断音乐的类型。)

(Jazz ,R&B, Soul , Blues, Hi-hop…) Let’s welcome him to give us a speech. If you have any questions , you can ask him. (请本班的一位超级音乐发烧友,用英语说说他所知道的其他的音乐类型,扩大学生的知识面。不明白的地方其它学生可以向他提问,他将给予现场回答和举例,在上课时,这个互动环节反响非常热烈。)

Step 7 I have a poem .Can you use the kind of music you like to match? Then act it, ok?(前面学生已经根据自己的喜好的音乐分好了小组,这个环节,还请这些小组用自己喜欢的音乐给它配乐。)

Step9 Music is fantastic. All kinds of music are special. You can enjoy yourself from music. If you’re happy, you can listen to all kinds of music. It will bring you happiness. If you’re unhappy, you can listen to pop music, and rock music. It may encourage you. And also we can learn English from English songs, right?
