　　圣诞节，随着这个西方节日的临近，街头商业气息弥漫开来。是一味追求洋节，还是固守传统节日？我认为传统节日和洋节没有必要“水火不相容”，完全可以“和平共处”。　　
　　近几年来，国外的母亲节、愚人节粉墨登场，踏上了神州大地。作为年轻人，我们总是喜欢新鲜的事物。于是，“圣诞节”，我们互赠贺卡；“母亲节”，我们为母亲祝福；“愚人节”，我们尽情捉弄别人……当我们沉浸在新鲜的节日中时，却有人对我们发出警告：祖国的传统节日被冷落了。是吗？我们疑问。当端午节被抢走时，有人清醒了，开始抵制国外的节日。有人痛斥我们忘本，痛斥我们还是不是炎黄子孙，痛斥我们崇洋媚外……我愕然。对于国外的节日，比如“圣诞节”，我还是很喜爱的。在那一天，我可以将我的祝福化作美丽的贺卡，传递给我的朋友；在那一天，我可以将自己的歉意写入贺卡，送给生我气的人，也许从此不会再是仇敌……这，难道不是一件好事么？我国于1978年实行了改革开放，广泛地吸收外来的先进文化，掌握先进的科技文化。我们对待外来文化中的一部分——节日，难道就不可以吸收其中的精华么？母亲节，是对母亲的无私的爱的感激与回报的节日。也许我们平时不能太关心母亲，就让我们在那一天多关心她一些，让她幸福、快乐；圣诞节，是朋友间传递祝福的节日。也许有什么话不方便说出口，那么就在传递祝福的贺卡中写出。对于传统节日，我们并没有抛弃。春节，一直是我们最重视的节日。合家团圆，幸福，虽然是老套的祝词，但却总那么温馨，让人幸福地想流泪……
　　过洋节只是一种形式，与过传统节日的心理状态完全不一样，不可能产生像过春节一样的情结。中国与世界各国之间的文化交流正与日俱增。在世界各地，除了海外华人外，就连许多外国人不是也和我们一起过春节吗？所以，传统节日和洋节不必掐个“你死我活”。
　　总而言之，对于外来的节日，我们要吸收其中的精华；对于传统节日，我们要坚守住，并且根据时代加以创新。传统节日与“洋节”一定可以在神州的土地上同时存在！

Nowadays,the world is related much tighter,people all over the world share the same interest in enjoying holidays and festivals.

As far as I know,people in China are fond of enjoying some of the foreign festivals,such as Christmas Day,Valentine's Day,Thanks Giving,All Saint's Day and so on.
More and more people are familiar with these foreign festivals and almost all the sellers will take the chance of these festivals to make money.For instance,the Christmas which has just passed was celebrated ceremoniously.When we went shopping during December,we could feel that Christmas was approaching us.I feel each of us were touched by such decoration.
What's more,foreign festivals enjoy almost the same status as Chinese traditional festivals.Even some Chinese festivals are neglected by us.Thus,in my opinion,it is important for us all to keep path with the international world,but as a Chinese,we should not forget our traditional festivals,they are our custom and they are also the treasure of our nation.We should cherish them and protect them well.The affair of the Dragon Boat Festival between China and Korea taught us a solemn lesson.

Should we celebrate the Christmas Day?

It is very popular for our Chinese people to celebrate the Christmas Day nowadays. In my opinion, we should celebrate the Christmas Day.

First of all, it is a good holiday for all of us to send our best wishes to other people, and receive letters and gifts from our friends and relatives, so I like the Christmas Day very much. It can help us to communicate with each other.

Secondly, it is a traditional holiday in many western countries, so it is very important for the foreigners in China. If we don't celebrate the Christmas Day in China, then all the foreigners in China may be very lonely and sad. That is not good for our foreign friends in China.

Finally, I think the Christmas Day is just like a bridge, which connects the westerners and Chinese people tightly. We celebrate their holidays, so that we will better understand them and learn their traditional culture. In this way, all of us can feel happy and have a good time during the holiday.

From all these reasons above, I think it is necessary for us to celebrate the Christmas Day.
