New year's visit nowdays becomes a tradition chinese culture for all the people in the first day of chinese new year. It 's a symbol of good will or forture that could bring about if u do ,and it also may dispel the ghost or evil in anyway.
Before the chinese new year, firework can drive the chinese ChuXi away ,which is old saying called horrible animal that killed innocents in the earth in old days.After that,paper cut, window decorations prevents evils from stealing into our house,etc. Red pockets contain money as a gift has already accpeted by all as visitors come or go for welcoming goodwishes.During the first half month ,new visits are allowed and aviable.
So red color is a happy expression or atmosphere .
