summer holiday, I took a trip to Yunnan. It is in the southern part of our country .It is really a very beautiful place grand mountains, clean rivers and kind people. Trees and flowers are seen everywhere. Every year there are lots and lots of visitors.
Maybe you have heard about Shi Lin (stone forests). There are all kinds of strange stones. Some of the small stones look like graceful girls; and the big stones look like handsome men. Other stones look like cats, peafowls, double-edged swords, mice, elephants and so on. Of all the stones, the stone like a beautiful girl in a legend is the most famous .Its name is A Shima.
I also went to Li Jiang. The roads in that city are just like the Eight Diagrams. Any road in the city goes to the center of Li Jiang. A river runs through the whole city. If you go along the river, you'll never get lost. There are many ethnic minority people in Yunnan. They are very cordial. And they all like singing and dancing. We danced with them around the campfire that night. I really had a good time.
I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.
The trip to Yunnan impressed me greatly. I will never forget it. 暑假我去云南旅行了一次。它是在南方的我们的国家的一部分,真的是一个非常美丽的地方大山脉,干净的河流和善良的人们。树木和鲜花是随处可见。每年都有许多的游客。

暑假里快乐的一件事 早就想学游泳了，因为看到别人在水里自由自在地游来游去，多快活啊！而我只能在岸上干着急。所以，今年暑假，我下定决心，一定要学会！一天下午，我缠着妈妈带我到游泳池。来到信华游泳池，哇！池里的人真多呀！一池碧水中有大人，有小孩，他们都穿着各种鲜艳的游泳衣。会游的像一条条穿梭的柳条鱼，一会儿游自由式，一会儿游蛙式，好不自在。实在倦了，就四仰八叉地躺在水面上舒舒服服地休息一会儿。不会游的只能借助泳圈，显得笨手笨脚。我迫不及待地换上新买的蓝色泳衣，跟在妈妈后面小心地下了水。哎呀，不好！水已经淹到脖子了，可脚却怎么也站不稳。我心里一阵慌乱，忙伸手乱抓，终于抓住旁边的扶手。这下，我有点想打退堂鼓了。妈妈见了成心逗我：“你呀，真是个兔子胆，不敢下水，还想学游泳呢？”我才不认输呢！听妈妈这么一说，我套上泳圈漂到浅水区。妈妈让我先学闷水，我深深地吸了一口气，紧闭双眼，把头闷入水里，心里默默地数 ：一秒、两秒、三秒……闷到二十几秒时，我实在憋不住了，猛地抬起头，深深地吸了一口气。湿发都贴在头上，水珠顺着脸颊流了下来。我使劲甩了甩头，抹了一把脸。妈妈站在对面微笑地看着我：“你这小鬼还真不赖，第一次就能有这样的成绩！好了，接下来学习边闷水边浑身放松，让身体浮起来。”我心里甜滋滋的，又一次把头闷进水里，让身体慢慢放松。咦，身体竟然浮起来了！我一高兴呛了一口水，忙想站稳，可腿就是发飘，不听使唤。这时，一双大手托住了我，才有惊无险。在妈妈的鼓励下，我毫不气馁，继续专心练习，而且到了深水区也不怕了，我的心里有说不出的高兴。时间到了，我只得恋恋不舍地离开了游泳池。我多想再游一会儿啊！
