Dear Mom and Dad:

I'm enjoying my summer vacation, and I think it's about time I write you guys a letter to give you guys a quick update about my life at college.

I'm doing good so far, at least in my standard. I'm got a A average, and I'm slightly getting used to living on my own. I think the biggest gain so far for me it's I'm becoming more independent. Even thought I bought food from cafe for the first few weeks, but I started to cook my own food recently as the food in the cafe is becoming unbearable. I learnt how to use a washing machine and a drying machine. Yay for me. I'm glad that I chose to live on campus. I think it really helped me grew up.

The greatest difficulty at present is that I'm busy with my school work. I'm doing research. I'm also volunteering at the hospital. I'm involved with a few clubs. Basically I'm busy with a lot of things, and it's really hard for me to balance all these things. And I don't have time to call you guys or visit you guys. I miss you guys a lot.
