stick to 与 insist on 的区别

stick to作“坚持”解，常表示坚持计划、原则、诺言等，有“执意不改变”的意思。其中 to 为介词，后跟名词或代词。如：

No matter what you say, I shall stick to my plan.

不管你说什么，我都会坚持我的计划。

You have made a good decision, and you should stick to it.

你们做出了一个好的决定，你们就应当坚持下去。

I always stick to my promises.

我总是坚守诺言的。

insist on 也作“坚持”解，但有“坚持(要干某事) ”( to order sth. to happen)

“强烈要求” (strongly demand sth. or doing sth. )的含义，后跟名词或-ing形式。例如：

His daughter insisted on coming with him.

他的女儿坚持要同他一起来。

I'm afraid I have to insist on the return of my books at once.

对不起，我不得不坚决要求你立即归还我的书。
