1是因为本句为同位语从句，所以用that；第二个空the key做的是后面不定式的宾语，不是地点状语，所以不能用where, 只能介词前置引导词。

2needn't have done 意思是本不必做而做了，指过去；C是说现在和将来不必，错误；B貌似可以，但是一般用来指本不必做而且也并未做（you didn't need/have to transport this into Dutch, for he is Dutch himself.），偶尔也可以指做了动作，不过要是强调动作已经完成还是用A比较妥当。

第一题应该是D啊！你的参考答案错了吧。lie in表示问题、事情在于。lie是vi必须加介词。
第二题表示“你本没有必要这样做”与现在已经发生的情况相反。所以用needn't.
第三题应该是which吧
