这是一个完形填空题, 短横线上填as well. 弱弱的问以下,also和as well可以同时出现在句子里吗?　这样不就重复了?
一般不是用＂... ...as well＂　或者说　＂it also... ...＂吗？

2．My first thought was of Jim in the trunk.　我第一个想到的是挤在后备箱里的Jim
这个句子为什么要有of呢?　不能说成my first thought was Jim in the trunk吗? thought不能做名词吗?

1:没见过两个同时在一个句子中的，这两个词中文意思虽然相同，但是用法是有区别的，需要自己琢磨；
2：of必须要的，这是英语的常用句型，其中的of可以理解为来自、出自于，那个thought应该就是名词；
3：确实跟时态有关的，其实学习英语不能以至于逐字翻译的，很多时候需要根据情境意译的；
4：它被许多因素影响着，以至对我们来说过于复杂而不能理解。
N年没看过英语了，很多地方都忘得差不多了，希望对己有点帮助哈
