1. beating as swift and merrily as the hearts of childern. 'swift and merrily '搭配不当一个是形容词一个是副词，中间用连接 应该是不合理的吧？
2. a member of (a) society，problems of (a) society其中可以换成复数形式 socies么？ one of (a) powerless individual /individuals 这里面的a都可以不要么？one of 后面一般都是直接跟复数的啊，原文是 one of a powerless individual ，但我看着不舒服，应该是怎样才正确呢？请把单复数2种正确形式详细说清楚，谢谢
3. pretend to have /know all the answers，know可以替换 have么？
4. fight one's way upward 知道意思，但不懂用法
5. Their responses are related to the message sent and preserve the significance, worth, well-being, and dignity of the people involved. 'significance‘在这里作何解释 好像是个多余的词

其实都是很简单的问题 只不过写的篇幅比较大 大家仔细看就很容易明白的啦

1. as swift and merrily as 没错，swift既是形容词也是副词，此处就是用作副词。
2. society为集合名词,a powerless individual所指为一类人，并不是一个人，
one of a powerless individual 指这类人中的一个，所以没有问题。
3. 应该是可以替换的。
4. 用法是哪里不懂呢，e.g.: He fights his way upward very hard.
5. and连接的是are 和preserve， significance与worth, well-being和dignity并列做preserve的宾语，构成动宾结构。

第四个 fight one's way upward 是个固定短语对么？
第五个我的意思是significance在这个句子里翻译成中文是什么意思？
