Abstract：The reversal FDI to the developed nations has important slrategic meaning to
internationalization of enterprises in China．disclosing the determinants of the reversal FDl wil
advantageous for enterprises’to develop也e reversal FDI strategy．In this Paper，through questionn
investigation and factor sorting analysis with the SPSS statistics software，the three main factor
determining reversal FDI of Zhejiang enterprises are found．which are the mature market attra
factor from a developed host country,the basic attraction factor and the enterprise’s own fa
Sub—factors with higher score include the acquiring market in a developed host country,the adva
management and technique，the enterprises’own strength，supplier and consumer in a developed
country,competitor,etc．It is also found that the ioint．stock enterprises in Zheiiang nse the reversal
as a result of enterprises expansio玛while privme enterprises in Zhejiang incline to BlaKe Bse of reve
FDI actively as the tool to promote the scale and technologicaI level ofthe enterprises in future．

Traditional FDI theoretical researches are all based on the industry level and the advantages of
multinational companies’of the developed country,111at great quantities of countries and regions with
obvious industrial advantage having invested in the developing countries and regions is called normal
FDI，or traditional FDI．However，we fred that the quantity of the FDI goiIlg up from the developing
countries to developed countries is in a ascending trend in the past several decades．A lot of developing
countries invest not on／Y in the neighboring countries and developing country like Africa and Latin
America．but developed countries such as North America and Europe．The data in the 2004 World
Investment Report shows that China’s favorite investing place is Chinese Hone Kong．followed by the
UIlited States；the investment quantity in these two regions exceeds the half of the total amount．From
1 990—2004，the number of也e Chinese enterprises with reversal FDI increases from 444 to 4627，the
investment capital increases from USD 800 million to USD 8．7 billion，and the level of the Chinese
reversal FDI has raised 10 times。It is hard to explain the reversal同DI towards the developed country
effectively with traditional FDI theory．Having been a little amount related researches aiming at reversal
