We are in the process of doing 3rd party testing on several of the light samples you have provided. The first side marker light sample tested (994020) has already failed one of the important tests required for certification of compliance to the FMVSS 108 standard.

The test the sample failed is called the reflex function or how well the lens reflects lights (see attached). According to the test lab the reason for this is due to one or several possible quality factors with the part as noted below:

· Contamination on the back side of the part

· Process control variables during the molding operation causing small cracks in the faces (i.e. the molded prismatic shape that reflects light).
· Lack of adequate tool polish and possible use of release agent.
· Contamination in the mold.（modld：模具）

The cost of testing for this part was $1575.00 USD and we are disappointed about this loss due to the quality of your product.

Therefore, we request that you make new samples for us of all side markers including part numbers 994020, 994021, and 56001424. Additionally, we request that you test these lights before sending them to us.
