According to the reading passage, there are the three main theories about extinction of mammoths.
Firstly, the reading passage mentioned about the Clovis people hunted mammoths and lead to their extinction about the 11,000 years ago. However, this professor did not think it is true in the lecture. He thinks that it is impossible for human killing off these mammoths. Mammoths had thick skin and thick layers. It also had a great appearance. The most important is that mammoths’ population is 10 times of the human. Thus, why should human hunted those Giant instead of other smaller animals. Professor thought this theory can not be true.
Secondly, we can learn from the reading passage that climatic changes killed off these mammoths during the ice age. Mammoths were killed by the climatic because it was getting warmer and warmer. However, the professor seems to doubt this theory in the listening passage. He thought mammoths endured more severe climate changes, why did this climate change kill them? Other animals like African and Indian elephants managed to survive this climate change without any problems.
Lastly, the reading passage supported this theory that mammoths were destroyed by diseases brought by humans from the old world. But the professor thought humans killed off mammoths indirectly by disease. But he also thought this is an interesting theory. Later on scientists examined the remains of many dead mammoths, did not found a sign of ant infectious diseases. Thus, the mammoths should not be killed by the diseases.

全文的意思就跟一楼说的差不多，但是具体细节上的话，有以下几个问题
1，整体结构太简单了，3个要点之间感觉没有丝毫联系，最好多一点渗透性与层递性
2，全文用词太简单了，高中生水平
3，整篇文章都是平铺直叙，平淡的让人蛋疼，可以多用一些花哨点的副词形容词或者短语

这几点做好一点的话应该能过了吧，希望LZ不要写第四次。。。。
