另外向某人解释可以这样说：explain something to sb =explain to somebody sth 

句子意思：我们数学老师在哪里？

她在教室里， 评讲/ 讲解/解释学生们在家里完成的练习作业..

2.Yesterday  a  street—beggar  bought  a  lottery  ticket   purposelessly,(  )  him  a  millionaire  overnight.

为什么第一题不选C，第二题不选A？

答案解析：现在动词不定式做结果状语（表示意想不到的结构）；现在分词做结构状语（表示是意料之中的结果）所有答案为C, 

句子意思：昨天一个街头乞丐无目的买了一个彩票，结果很意外地一夜之间让他成为了一个百万富翁

为什么第一题不选C，时态不一致，主句是一般现在时，不能用explained。第二题，making表示伴随或正在进行，显然不合逻辑

2. 应该是D, 因为是Yesterday是过去时，made是make的过去式
