定语从句通常置于它所修饰的名词之后，这种名词叫先行词，引导定语从句的关联词为关系代词和关系副词，关系代词可用作主语，宾语，定语等，关系副词只能用作状语
the student （who answerd the question）was Jian,括号中who做主语 引导的定语从句修饰student
i know the reason （why he was so angry）关系副词引导定语从句，why 在从句中做原因状语
关系代词有who whom whose that which 等
The man （who i saw）is called Smith，
i know the man （whom you mean），
I‘d like a room （whose windows looks out over the sea），
that 和which 在从句中可做主语，也可作宾语 ，
