The most impotant thing you should know that all the Chineses are shin, which means that they don't feel like to talk to others. So for them to getting to know you is that you should talk to them. Also, you can inviting them to join some parties of yours. Therefore, they will be able to study English better and you can also getting to know about Chinese culture. On the other hand, inviting them for pary and talk to them will help them to get rid of the negative feelings. As a result you will be stay together very well.

Maybe you can invite them to take part in more get-together or parties,because there are many benifites to them,first of all,it can do good to imorove their English,besides,it's a good way to help them feel less lonely,what's more,it also makes them have a better understanding of Chinese culture ,learn much more about Chinese knowledge.
